Q: Do you have any pre-poker rituals?

NN: Nope. I go with the flow. Perhaps I need something to help with my mojo.

Q: Do you have a special place, room, or setup that you prefer to play online?

NN: Yes. I generally prefer a laptop on the coach. I lace three pillows in various sizes on the one end of the sofa so I can see the TV and have the laptop ironically in my lap and a foot stool just to the right of the coach. Then I have a little footstool within arm’s reach with my three remote controls and then I have some fruit nearby. Lately it’s been cut watermelon eaten with a plastic fork.

Q: What variation of poker do you consider to be your strongest game?

NN: NL Holdem and NL Omaha Hi/Lo

Q: What variation of poker do you feel needs more work?

NN: Same, plus stud, my weakest game

Q: Why do YOU play The Mookie?

NN: The price is right for my limited means and improper bankroll management skills. Also I enjoy playing with the type of players present.

Q: Are you a winning player and if so how long did it take you to become a winning player?

NN: No. I am a losing player. I know what I need to do to improve, proper bankroll management but I don’t have the discipline. Something has to give.

Q: What bankroll standards have you setup for yourself?

NN: No standards what so ever. When I reload it is generally for about $100 a pop so I definitely play within my personal financial limits. But grinding it out at $0.10/0.25 is tough for me. But I’m trying to grind with the occasional two table and lately, $14 token frenzies.

Q: Cash or MTT?

NN: I suck bad at cash, so generally MTT.

Q: Cake or pie?

NN: Generally pie but I do enjoy cheesecake and Black Forest German cake.

Q: Bacon or sausage?

NN: Sausage. I just can’t eat fat directly, it has to be hidden somehow.

Q: Blond, brunette, redhead, or all three?

NN: Mrs. New is a blond, so I’ll say Blonde. But that really is my preference.

Q: Who will win the World Series and Super Bowl?

NN: Boston Red Sox and the Colts

Q: Do you really believe it when during the WSOP interviews they say ” I don’t care about the money, just the bracelet?” (Submitted by stl_phily)

NN: No way. Money is always number one.
