There hasn’t been much poker for me over the last three or four days. That all changes tonight since it’s time for The Mookie. A member of the Surf Crew, rbledj494, won last week. I haven’t done the math yet but a lot of Mookie titles sit in Georgia. Be sure to sign up for this historical tournament tonight. Years from now you’ll be able to tell your grandkids (or great-grandkids (or great-great-grandkids) for all you old farts out there..he he) you played in the last Mookie held on Pokerstars.

Next week we load up and move over to Full Tilt. They have been very helpful in hosting the Tanner Evers Charity Tournament next week. The folks at Full Tilt have been very flexible by allowing us to add money to prize pool, making this a rake-free tournament and donating a hat and t-shirt to the winner. A lot of people over the past month or so has asked about moving The Mookie to Full Tilt which made all this seem like a good sign to give it a try. I still love playing at Pokerstars however Full Tilt has gone out of their way to make sure we got everything we needed.

Hoyazo is the spotlight player this week. He earned this by becoming the unfortunate bubble boy last week. This week’s 2nd place finisher will be in next week’s spotlight. Come play tonight, it’s always fun. Be sure to sign up early though, there is always at least one person who comes by and finds that one of us donkeys have already been knocked out closing the late registration early.

We received a couple more prizes for the Tanner tourney next week. Kat has donated a Scott Fishman “Fish Tank” hat and The Official WSOP game for the Nintendo GameCube. She has also put a bounty on herself bringing our player bounty total to five. Thanks again to everyone who has pitched in, we really appreciate it.
