Arrggghhh !! I emailed Full Tilt last Thursday with the request for this week’s Mookie tournaments…six days later and three followup emails to FT and the tournaments still aren’t posted. WTF ?? Another round of emails have been sent again this morning including one to Full Tilt support along with some help from Al (since he’s the man and gets shit squared away). Hopefully they’ll be posted soon…if not we’ll have to move this shindig over to Stars for the night.

If things go as planned we’ll have the usual Mookie tourney at 9:00PM CT with wwonka69 defending his title. At 10:30PM CT, the 2nd Chance event will start with this week being a $5 Stud Hi/Lo (Turbo) tournament.

There have been rumors that Kat and Joanne will be handling the live-blogging duties which will be fun to read.

I’ll be back a little later with an update on tonight’s tournament location.

10:45 AM CT … Reason #3,768 Al is the man…the tourneys have been posted. When Al talks/writes/drinks, people straighten up and listen. So you can sign up now and I’ll see you on Full Tilt tonight.

2:15 … While slaving away I managed to multi task and watch the latest Poker After Dark online. This is quickly becoming one of my favorite poker shows right behind High Stakes. This week’s SNG features Sam Farha, Tony G, Mike Matusow, Phil Hellmuth, Phil Ivey and Andy Bloch. The table talk alone is worth the time watching these guys play.

4:35 … This day is draggin’…2 1/2 hours before I can leave and go home to get ready for the fun tonight. Luckily I have quality video entertainment to keep me company. See what happens to a crackhead spider.

6:00 EST … Kat here. Joanada is having internet issues so you are going to have to make do with only one component of the Canuck Triple Threat. I’ll beg your forgiveness in advance – I will miss something or another, because 1) I plan on having a beer or five and 2) I can’t multi-task for shit. So while colourful, the coverage will be spotty *grin.

10:00 … here we go…I guess for sanity’s sake I better switch my time to CT.

9:10 … good lord what am I in for? My screen i filled with windows, and well, I’m just so easily confused *grin. Screw it, I’ll get another beer and hope for the best. I have Waffles and Jordan on my table, so the chit chat is nothing if not amusing.

9:11 … I’m gonna watch a few tables for Kat tonight, until the donks get weeded out.

9:14 .. table break as will wonka is first out when his trip jacks with a king is outkicked by photojenn’s trip jacks with an ace. Now I’m seated with change100, Zeem, CC, BoneDaddy, Biggestron, Mean Gene, Jeciimd and Dnasty. Yay. ‘Scuse me while I concentrate on not losing my chips to these sharks.

9:16 … and while I was writing that Joe Speaker, Columbo and Hoyazo are out. And while I was writing THAT bit I busted out when my JJ did not work out against MeanGene’s flush. That he made on the river, btw. That makes 8/11 games in the last 3 days where I have busted out on when the river catches for my opponent. I must go break something now.

9:21 … AK for WPBT and KK for photojenn…no miracle Ace and WPBT is out in 50^th.

9:22 … Well this blows. I hate watching…I’m more of a participatory kinda gal. Not even Waffles AA getting cracked by Kajagugu’s QQ (Q on the damn river) can make me feel better. Well, ok, maybe a little.

9:25 … How the hell does Mookie do this?? TFG, Mr. Subliminal and heffmike are out, but I have no idea how or by whom. I could/should pay more attention, but frankly it’s way more fun watching Waffles get wound up.

9:33 … Oof…the bitches hate Waffles…his QQ loses when Maudie’s A2 flops an A. He’s crippled and is out next hand when BrainMc gets a straight. I break something on his behalf.

9:33 and a half … well more people are out while i’m typing.. Poker Enthusiast and Dachrsty.

9:44 … Sigh. Zeem, Love Elf and Miami Don are busted. Serioulsy people, can you slow down? I can’t keep up! (good lord imagine how lame this would be if I was still in it??)

9:51 … JJOK’s J9 pairs on the flop and looks soooo good..until the turn is a King and Jordan’s KJ is a better two pair. Last week’s champ, wwonka, is also out, succumbing to Duggle’s two pair.

9:56 … xkm1245 is a goner…99 no goot in this case. Kajagugu is out the next hand with his 3Q (paired a 3 on the flop) vs. Weak’s A6 (paired his 6 on the flop).

9:58 … aaaahhhh I see Mookie’s trick. Just keep all the windows open, watch for the word “finished” to pop up beside someone’s name then look at the hand history window for that table. Sidenote: here’s a good prop bet for how many ways I can nicely say BUSTED. I have a fairly good vocabulary, so I’m putting it at 20 before I run out.

10:01 … I’m goofing around post-break, and I think to myself, “Self, play the Second Chance”. So I look it up only to find the world has indeed gone mad… Limit Stud Hi/Lo?? Good grief.

10:10 … Change100 is alas, also no longer with us. Her QAs falls when dnasty’s KK also hits a four flush. GOD, don’t you hate being on the receiving end of those?! DontKnow is gone, against Jordan’s AA. QQ no goot.

10:13 … The short-stacked Bone Daddy departs in 29th when his Big Chick proves no match for photojenn’s Big Slick. BuddyDank then makes the 28th place his personal marker.

10:29 … Woops! Went for a beer, chit chatted with the returning Hunny Bunny, and missed the untimely exit of Mattazuma, 23skidoo, Berglar and TripJax.

10:31 … Fellow Canuck, Fishy McDonk is gone in 23rd place in a battle of the pocket pair. Alas, in this end of the universe, KK beats 99.

10:35 … Have I mentioned how…ummm….unsatisifying it is to watch bloggers play poker, as compared to actually playing with them?

10:38 .. CC makes his flush on the turn only to watch it turn into a four flush for mclarich and joins the rest of us in the Losers Lounge.

10:42 … Crap! Another Big Slick winning against Big Chick, only it’s Mookie who finds himself sans chips. Chipperdh and Mean Gene are gone soon after, and we’re down to two tables.

10:45 … mclarich takes another victim and jeciimd can now head to bed (if that’s what he wants to do of course).

10:46 … My neighbour across the lake, VinNay has his QQ beaten by Gcox’s KK, and that’s that for him.

10:53 … Surflexus neatly doubles up with a pair of Queens against Budohorseman’s pocket 99’s. Goodnight Budo …..

11:00 … The velvety-voiced Gcox catches a full house, sixes over kings, and alas DonkeyPuncher had only 3 kings (of orient are, had to, sorry); so he’s off to look after DP Junior (who is cute as hell I might add). Weak’s ducks turn into triplets, and Surflexus’s cards are found to be the weakest link – goodbye. Yes I know that one was like, so five minutes ago, but I’m reaching here. File it under literary license.

11:38 … Big Hand ! On this flop…Kh 7d 6h…Maudie and Numb get all in. Numb has K7s and Maudie 35h. No heart or 4 shows up and Maudie is knocked out in 6th and Numb is up to 34K in chips.

11:39 … Numb raises PF with 66 and lightning moves all in with KQo…Numb calls and they are off to the races. Coming down the backstretch, lightning catches a Queen on the river to double up through the chipleader.

11:41 … Numb raises PF with AKo and Duggles moves in with AJo…after some thought Numb calls and Big Slick holds up and Numb eliminates Duggle and increases his stack to 41K.

11:42 … GCox 10K, Numb 41K, photjenn 12K and lightning 17K.

11:45 … photojenn all in PF with AKd vs. lightning’s QJd….Big Slick is goot again and lightning is left with a short stack.

11:47 … Numb raises PF and GCox moves in…AJ for Numb and KK for GCox… Jack on the flop and an Ace sends GCox out in 4th. Ouch.

11:48 … Numb is all in again with 99 vs. lightning’s 44…the Nines hold up and they are heads up now…Numb has 60K vs. photojenn’s 21K.

11:50 … Numb moves in PF with KJo and photojenn calls with A6o. A Jack on the flop seals the deal for Numb netting him his first Mookie title. Congrats !
