Another week, another Wednesday and yet another Mookie. Who’s ready for some level 8, sound, solid donkey poker tonight ?

BigSlickNuts is the man of the hour however the poker gods thought he may be getting a little cocky and sabotaged his computer. While he won’t be around to defend his title, he did choose 7-Stud High (Turbo) as the 2nd Chance tourney format. Don’t be scared…you don’t have to hike your pants up to your armpits and don a blue-haired wig while complaining about your corns to play in this thing. I think I’ve played Stud once or twice so there’s at least one free buy-in to be had.

Fastpitch27 aka pokerenthusiast has stepped up to the plate and will handle the live-blogging duties tonight. Woo-hoo !! Back to back weeks I get a break. The only downside to this is I don’t have a built-in excuse as to why I suck so bad at poker.

The main tourney starts at 9:00PM CT tonight and the 2nd Chance follows at 10:30PM CT. The password for both tournaments is vegas1. Lost is starting to suck lately, so be like me and play while glancing up every now and then to hear Kate say “I’m going with you”.

11:38 Mean_G pushes with A5 but is way behind roberto’s AK and doesn’t improve. On the next hand Roberto pushes after the flop with a pair of 5s but astin has a flush draw. The turn completes the flush and we have a winner. Astin.
