I’m still alive…barely. These last two days at work have kicked my ass and I can’t wait to get out of here later today. Sadly I’m stuck with the pager throughout the rest of the week so the madness may not end today. These last 5 days can be summed up as the Good, the Bad and the Ugly…

Good

• Got out of working maintenance Friday night and instead went to dinner with Mrs. Mookie to celebrate our wedding anniversary.

• Railed Big O regular aimike25 on Friday night as he took 2nd place (for $2,200+) in the 13.5K guaranteed on Full Tilt.

• Took down first place at the Big O rebuy tournament on Saturday night.

• On Sunday I took most of the kiddos to see Bee Movie, including Monkey who made her first trip ever to a movie theater. She had a great time and behaved perfectly. It’s a miracle anytime you can keep a 2 yr. old completely quiet for about 2 hours.

Bad

• Powder wasn’t able to make the trip to the movies with us since she has strep throat.

• The nasty sickness is spreading through the family and now our oldest has it…just a matter of time before I get struck with it the way I run.

• Because of all this we may be spending Thanksgiving at home alone.

• I spent 6+ hours on the phone with Microsoft on Monday trying to troubleshoot a problem with our servers in Bangalore. Naturally the tech support guy from Microsoft was in Bangalore but didn’t think it was too funny when I asked him to drive over to our building and fix my shit. Stupid outsourcing.

Ugly

• I am truly THE Cooler when it comes to betting on football. 1-6 on my picks this weekend. I think I found something I suck at worse than poker.

• Keeping with the football theme, I bombed out again in my attempts to cash in the Blogger Battle and Sundays With Dr. Pauly on FantasySportsLive.

• Everyone is posting about the upcoming Vegas trip and it sounds like this is gonna be the best event yet. Since it looks like I won’t be able to go, it makes it brutal to read about you lucky fuckers getting ready.

Ready for some “Hot Mookie Action“? Tonight the BBT2 continues at The Mookie and Mike Maloney is your defending champ. I’m way behind on things and haven’t gotten with him yet on the champion profile. I’ll try to get that knocked out later this week.

With the holiday upon us I suspect the crowd will be much smaller than usual giving us a better chance at snagging one of the coveted TOC seats. Since things should be easier to track I’ll try to do some live-blogging tonight.

I haven’t heard from BuddyDank yet but I doubt BuddyDank Radio will be broadcasting live tonight. I’ll be sure to put up an update here if that’s incorrect.

The tourney kicks off at 9:00PM CT and the password is vegas1. For The Dookie tonight we’ll be playing Turbo HORSE starting at 10:30PM CT. Same password…vegas1. Hopefully we’ll have enough players for a full table.

I’ve managed to stay away from the bottle thus far but I’m not sure how much longer I can hold out. I’m really looking forward to getting my mind off work tonight and having some fun playing a little poker. Hope to see you there.

10:19 … Wow, my chips were burning a hole in thepokergrind’s pocket. He gets all in on a AJ6 flop with 44 vs. NightRanger’s A9. No miracle 4 and he goes bye-bye. 59 left.
