The Curse Lives
First up, I have to thank Smokkee for hooking up the Bears this weekend…
“go Drew Brees and the Saints!” …smokkee on Saturday.
The smokkee curse lives and now I just need him to start rooting for the Colts so the Bears can lock up the Super Bowl.
Both games yesterday were exciting to watch…midway through the 3rd quarter of the Bears game I started to get a sick feeling that New Orleans was going to go off and blow the game open. The Bears defense played great and although Rex couldn’t hit many receivers, he didn’t turn the ball over.
Although most people think the Bears are just sacrificial lambs to the AFC winning Colts, I believe in the curse and as long as smokkee is on board the Bears should win by 3.
Friday night we had the pleasure of meeting some more bloggers when Scott and April showed up for the Season 4 Kickoff Tourney at the Big O. The trend continues as we really enjoyed meeting and slinging some chips with them. They both played great and cashed, April finished 4th while Scott took 2nd (after chopping up most of 1st and 2nd place money).
This week’s Mookie tourneys should be posted on Full Tilt any time now. I emailed FT on Friday but lately it takes a follow-up email to get the ball rolling. I sent the profile questions to the wrong email address for wwonka69, so hopefully I’ll have his profile ready within the next day or two.

Smokkee likes the Colts? I’m betting the Bears plus the points and the Bears on the moneyline!
Whew…the Bears have hope now. Swami Smokkee has cast his spell to curse the Colts so now it’s just a matter of how many points the Bears will win by.
