No bubble here
Last night was the latest DADI tournament hosted by Trip, Jordan and Gary. They had a great turnout of 66 players and lined up some great prizes from multiple sponsors. At the last minute I joined Team Drunkie – Garth and Dnasty for the collective team last longer. Well none of us must have been drunk enough as we didn’t get it done.
I stayed alive by stealing a pot here and there and every now and then getting a decent hand. I never hit 3,000 in chips but somehow managed to survive all the way to 14th place which thankfully wasn’t the bubble. Congrats to Scott for taking 1st and to JJ, Don and Chris for winning the team bet. (Who do I send the money to ??)
While playing in the DADI I also played a 25NL table and then when I busted from the tourney I went to another table and we started up a blogger cash game. Another fun time at the toughest 25NL table on Stars.
Tonight we are hosting a rebuy/bounty tournament at the Big O Poker Room. I need to boost my live tourney results for the year, so here’s to hoping I won’t bubble.

Cash games with bloggers are really fun. Very tough table, but a great opportunity to learn from some really good players.
I think I need to double up 2 or 3 more times in the tourney in order to be able to post the blinds. Maybe next time.
