Lucky, Lucky, Lucko…Double Prizes…DADI
Thanks to everyone who played in The Mookie last night. We didn’t come close to 80 but still had a strong showing with 50 players. Smokkee took over live blogging duties and did a hell of a job. The MTT King even sat out the first hour and still outlasted me. That’s what happens when you try to run 77 into AA. If you didn’t follow the action last night, go here to read smokkee’s work…good stuff. I hope he volunteers again in the future. By the way let me know if anyone is interested in guest live blogging next week’s tournament.
It sounds like Waffles Video Blog was a success, he will be posting clips up later today. I think the whole blogger world is waiting with anticipation. No pressure or anything Waffles.
Congrats to those who made the final table and cashed. I didn’t follow much of the action after I was eliminated since I was playing a token tourney along with The Mookie – 2nd Chance HORSE tourney. I do know that lucko21 amassed a huge stack and played it well steamrolling his way to win. Here are the final results…check out that tough final table:

This week we changed up the format of the 2nd Chance tournament and went with the latest craze…HORSE (soon to be replaced by 2-7 TD and 5 card draw). We had a great turnout of 22 players and this thing lasted awhile. Right now Full Tilt doesn’t offer Turbo HORSE tourneys (although they will in a week or two).
Somehow I managed to stay alive in this thing and make the final table. This was a token tourney so the top 4 spots all got a $26 token while the 5th place finisher took home a whopping $6. Yea a huge profit of fiddy cent. Duggle was the unfortunate bubble boy while bdidde took the fiddy cent piece. I managed to the keep the donkey ship afloat and snag a token along with Ryan, Budo and skidoo. It’s fun to win something every now and then.

Speaking of tokens, while I was waiting for the start of the 2nd Chance tourney I played in a 2-table token event. I was able to win a token in this as the 2nd Chance started. Double tokens !! I’ll probably use one of them to try and qualify for The Don’s Big Game on Sunday and then of course use the other one for the last DADI tonight.
I was sad to hear that tonight would be the last DADI because this is probably one of the first blogger tournaments I played. This was the event that allowed me to meet many of you and become part of the crowd. The DADI events are the best planned and promoted blogger tourneys around. Jordan, Trip and Gary have done a great job with setting these up with special prizes, different formats and even sending a blogger to the WSOP. Be sure to sign up tonight and take part in the last of these great events. The thing I’ll miss most about the DADI is probably the awesome banners…this was one of my favorites.
Looking for some more tournaments to play tonight ?? Well don’t fret…CC’s Thursday Bash is tonight along with the DADI and then the WWdN Knot. I cracked up last night when Pauly said “Is there a blogger tourney every hour ?”
The “Blogger Tour” reminds me a little of the 10K buyin tournament tour that many of the so called pros play. They talk about how expensive it is to play and stay on the tour. For us low rollers look how much it cost to roll in all the blogger events each month…$524 if you played every event including the Big Game. Thank goodness for cash games.
