I should be outside doing some yardwork, but I’m too lazy for that today. Instead I am laying on the couch watching Mexico vs. Argentina and catching up on some blog reading. I am half Mexican (plus part German, Italian and more…yea I’m a mutt) so I still have a few teams left to root for and adopt as my own.

Last night we went over to Rocco’s house for a tournament and I got lucky, lucky, lucky and chopped 1st place for a little over a $100. It was one of those nights where everything seemed to work; like getting Aces twice and winning nice pots both times along with flopping a full house with 33 and having someone push all in ahead of me.

This is probably way late but has everyone tried out the new Pokerstars Beta client ? I am liking it alot so far. Some of the cool, new features are table resizing, themes and using your own background image. Pretty neat.

Full Tilt also has a new client out as well. Not as many drastic changes, but a new look and feel, visual timer and a few other new features.

The next DADI tournament is upcoming so be sure and sign up soon, it’s open to everyone. The guys (Jordan, Trip, Gary) have once again setup sponsors who have offered up some great prizes to go along with the normal prize pool.

Well that’s all for now, back to watching the match and playing some NL cash games online. Up so far…a whopping $6…big money.
