It’s a good think poker isn’t like baseball because I would be batting about .150. For those of you who don’t follow baseball, that’s not good – Rondell White currently ranks 194th in batting average. Actually I would be batting much worse than that, since the closest thing to moneying for me has been the $10 I found in the back pocket of my jeans I ironed yesterday morning. (and don’t give me any shit about ironing my jeans, I hear enough about that from Mrs. Mookie)

Last night I popped into the WWdN: Not The tournament on Stars setup by darval. This is going to be a weekly tourney he runs on Thursday night. It was created mainly for the “west siiiiide” since it starts at 8:30PM PDT, however there was a good representation from the east coast boys and girls including – SoxLover, Waffles, VTepes, Garth (oops wrong link) , hoyazo and others.

I started at a table that included Waffles, Wil Wheaton, and SoxLover. I played tighter than usual and was getting hit with the deck early on. I was able to make the final table first or second in chips. Steve was at the final table as well and had chips. Rounding out the final table was surflexus, darval, L0K1, Darzog, Garth, Waffles and SoxLover.

My good run was short lived as I took a couple to the chin and found myself on a shortstack. I exited in 6th place and stuck around and watched the rest of the action. Darval played the big stack well and won with Steve and surflexus finishing 2nd and 3rd. It was a good time as always, especially jumping into the chatroom with what Mrs. Mookie calls “your little internet blogger friends”.

No poker again this weekend at the Big O, but I may make it out to RoccoBoxer’s homegame on Saturday night. Have a good weekend.
