What a great turnout Wednesday night at The Mookie, almost record tying with 65 strong. Waffles was able to make it in the nick of time and took over the live blogging duties. He like smokkee before him did an awesome job. There were several times I caught myself laughing out loud while I followed along.  Although that coulda been the many Dos XX talking too.

My starting table was loaded with all types of talent including The Don, Pauly and Alabama Bobby to name a few.  I basically kept with what’s been working for me lately and closed my eyes and mashed some buttons…a couple hours later I found myself at the final table.  But just like answering C for every question on that tough test in high school didn’t always work, my blind donkey poker skills ran out and I finished in the money in 7th place. 

Congrats to everyone who made the final table and cashed.  BrainMc and surflexus played great and were the last two standing…a heads up match ATL style.  Surflexus made a run to extend his record number of Mookie titles but it was Brain’s night and he was able to pull out the win.  Great job on the first title Brain.  I’ll have his profile up here over the next few days.

We had 20 players for the 2nd Chance HORSE tournament and it was a marathon match.  In the end Jordan was able to take it down after a lenghty duel with Joanne.  Congrats to those two along with Ryan who finished in 3rd.

I’m back at work today after the very refreshing 8 days off.  One whole day of work and then the weekend….ahh if only every week could be like that.  Tonight we are hosting the last official tournament of Season 3 at the Big O.  I’m the defending champ which means I’ll be the first one knocked out.  It’s also our 3rd Annual Christmas tournament so they’ll be plenty of snacks and sweets along with the white elephant gift exchange to keep me occupied.

Well that’s all I have for now, I should probably do a little work.  Don’t forget about the Big Game this Sunday night.  If and when I get knocked out tonight, I may hop online and play some token tourneys…we’ll see.
