Bonus whore that is…I’ve been looking to build the online bankroll a bit and just playing in blogger tournaments and cash games probably isn’t the smartest way. I took JJ’s advice and signed up for Sun Poker through a rakeback site and have started working off a $150 bonus. Now I know what you’re thinking, doesn’t this guy play chump change limits, why go the rakeback route instead of site like PokerSource or Pokersavvy ? Well it’s true I do play low…right now…but someday I hope to sit down at the grown-up’s table. Plus you’d be suprised how much rake you really pay even at the low limits. I’ve found this out by playing at World Poker Exchange which is a 100% rakeback site. So for now most of my cash game forays will be at these sites instead of Stars or Full Tilt.

I think this was the first blogger tournament I played back when they had the heads up version where I met and played against Garth, Kat and SoxLover. With all the weekly blogger tournaments we have now, it’s tough trying to find a day to have the monthly DADI tournament. I am happy to take a break from The Mookie and make way for the DADI.
