Happy MOOOOKday
We’re coming down the back stretch of the BBT3 and the turnout for each tournament continues to be strong as people try to snag a TOC seat. Sadly I’ve only been able to make it out to 14 of the 45 events and most of those were The Mookie.
Life outside of poker has been great but kept me very busy however I still make time for MOOOKdays. Tonight Heffmike will try to defend his crown at The Mookie on Full Tilt. We’ll be playing single-stack NLHE at 9PM CT for a cheap buy-in of just $11. Everyone is welcome to play and if you wanna join us the password is vegas1.
For those of you missing the double-stacks like me, have no fear…once the BBT3 concludes we’ll be back to those every week. I miss them dearly since those are the only tourneys I can go deep.
At least I have The Dookie to look forward to after I bust out of The Mookie right before the first break. Turbo Pot Limit Omaha kicking off at 10:30PM CT. The buy-in and the password for The Dook is the same, $11 and vegas1.
Since I have a Vegas trip right around the corner (June 6-9th), it’s time for some Mookie bounties. Knock me out and win yourself a $10 Vegas bet. Like my dad always told me, it’s not a lot but it’s better than a poke in the eye with a sharp stick. Only stipulation is that you have to come by my blog or email tomorrow and claim your bounty. The bet can be used on pretty much anything they spread in Vegas…blackjack, roulette, sportsbook, etc.
Speaking of Vegas, anyone else making the trip the same weekend…6-9th? I would love to meet some more bloggers. So far I know these folks will be out there along with MiamiDon, CK, Pauly, Change…

You guys don’t know me from Eve… but, I met Falstaff, Columbo and Mattazuma last summer at the MGM mixed games! It’s my plan to make it there again this year.
I’ll be there from June 6th – 14th.
Ditto on the not knowing-ess-ness; I’ve only met the brave souls who descended on Al’s pub a couple months ago. Not that it matters, but you can add one more to your count…I’ll be in town that weekend.

Still working on travel arrangements — finding it very hard indeed to get affordable flights that work for us. May or may not happen….but if it does, we’ll probably be staying at MGM or TI.
Anyone here know the MGM Grand poker rate?

I’ve never used the MGM poker rate since my wife gets deals through her slot play. Just call their poker room and they should be able to help you out.
Oh, it’s all done. Really awesome…going out on the 5th, for four nights. We got $69.99 for the 5th, and $99.99 for the other nights. For MGM Grand, that strikes me as an awesome rate.
Looking foward to blogger mixed games, and such…this will be a weird “blogger trip” for me, since other than you and Falstaff, I’m not familiar wiht any of the other bloggers. It’ll end up being more of a regular Vegas trip, I think, and my true blogger shenanigans will be saved for the winter event.
