Happy MOOKday
With each BBT3 event that passes I feel like I’m falling a bit further from the blogger “loop”. I’m a ghost these days it seems but real life has kept me on the go non-stop it seems. In my copious free time (yes I just busted out a word longer than four letters…it was in honor of finding Iak at his new home) I’ve been trying to help out Mrs. Mookie with her business along with starting up a non-poker blog with some friends. More on that in a future post.
One day I can always count on catching up with my fake Internet friends is Wednesday..aka MookDay. Sadly over the last month or so I’ve been bounced early from nearly every Mookie tournament. I’m not a huge fan of the 1,500 starting chips but I also like getting to bed before 2AM. One or two missteps/bad beats and you’re out early.
I have been trying to brush up on my tourney game so you can imagine how happy I was seeing Julius Goat post his latest chapter of the Stupid System. You can bet that I’ll be playing with the super lucky “Space” background tonight.
As always The Mookie kicks off tonight at 9PM on Full Tilt. Three time champ, Wwonka69 if the defending champ. I’m looking forward to throwing on my headphones and firing up BuddyDank Radio while I make my 13 minute tourney appearance.
Speaking of BDR, what a huge success it’s turned out to be. I was going through old email the other day and came across an email BuddyDank sent last May outlining his vision for the show(s). It was a cool idea and the boys have really done a great job.
