Grounded
Right now I should be standing in a security line at the Austin-Bergstrom International Airport with laptop bag in hand and Mrs. Mookie by my side. Instead I am slouched at my desk at work unable to go to Vegas and unhappy.
If you are bored beyond belief follow me on Twitter you know we’ve been dealing with sick kiddos over the last week or so. First my son, then my 2nd youngest. We almost cancelled the trip a couple days ago but Monkey started feeling better.
Yesterday yet another kiddo came down with the same illness and left school early. And just like that our Vegas plans disappeared into thin air.
Although there’s an outside chance I’ll be able to reschedule for later this month, I’m super bummed since I wanted to meet many of you this weekend.

That’s such a bad beat I would feel obligated to automatically blame it on the worst poker player ever.
