Another fun time at The Mookie last night although once again we failed to reach our revised goal of 66. Instead 59 of us showed up to donk it up a little. Mean Gene showed up though and saved the day, so no Olga pictures this week. Lightning36 was the defending champ and made a decent run before falling by the wayside in 23rd place. The easiest bounty in poker was up for grabs and xkm1245 was the lucky recipient of the $10 Vegas Bet bounty. He joins past winners Astin and dnasty13…btw guys I need your choices for the bet by Sunday.

Congrats to all those who made the final table and cashed. Seven spots paid last night with Bone Daddy finishing as the unfortunate bubbler. The action was much quicker this week until they got down to the final 5 or 6. FishyMcDonk came from behind and took over the chiplead after the 2nd break and played the big stack well all the way to the win. Congrats to him on his 1st Mookie title. We had 14 players for the 2nd Chance Token Tournament with 4 tokens awarded and a whopping $8 for 5th place. After talking to some of you and reading comments from others it looks like the voting is about half for going back to the regular turbo style and half for keeping it a token tournament. So how about we alternate it each week ? Also for the weeks we have the non-token event, what about throwing in some other games like Omaha, Razz, Stud, etc. ? Thoughts ? While we’re talking about it, should we keep the buyin in the $5-$8 range ?

Next Wednesday we will have The Mookie – Fish n Donks…I’ll be in Vegas so I probably won’t be playing but given the way I’ve been playing lately I may find myself in the hotel room so we’ll see.
