Fido Mason
We had another good turnout last night – 34 players. I sat in with humanaut, Dave (wldcat70), Henry (Texicans), Bubba (ladyluck91), Susan (DogLawyer) and the defending champ, RoccoBoxer. First hand of the tourney, I raised in MP with AQh, and was only called by DL in the BB. I ended up bluffing off 400 chips by the end of the hand and once again found myself on the brink of an early exit.
Overall the play early on in the tournament was pretty tight. We didn’t lose our first player until 17 minutes. Which means at this point, I had already lasted 3 times as long as the week before. Unfortunately I couldn’t get anything going. Anytime I flopped a monster I couldn’t get any action. And then of course everytime I tried to steal, everyone and their mother would call me down.
As the blinds went up, my chipstack dwindled. After more eliminations the tables were consolidated and TripJax, among others, was moved to our table. I threw in my last few crumbs in the SB and Trip called in the BB and knocked me out. He will be the proud new owner of the Mookie Bounty. I will be sending it out today and will post a picture of it in a couple days. Don’t get your hopes up as it isn’t anything special. The shipping will cost more than the actual item. 
In the end, the lovely Mrs. Mookie (Qn of Hrts) finished on the bubble and MiamiDon (who lives in Vegas) finished 5th, drewspop made another great run and finished 4th, kaellinn18 took 3rd, sniperboy543 landed in 2nd while Fido Mason…err…DogLawyer finished in 1st Place. Thanks to everyone who came out to play, it was fun as usual…even watching from the virtual rail. Next week it will be the Big O – “Fido Mason” Tournament.

Mook, thanks again for setting up the Big O each Week. I registered, then immediatley feel asleep, the artifact of 3 straight 16 hour workdays. The sad part is, but not playing a single hand, I finished 14 spots higher than last week. See you next week.
