Since it’s a short week due to the holiday weekend I’m gonna post my picks today.  Last week I managed to break even finishing 1-2 in college and 2-1 in NFL picks.  I was going to start my college picks off with the UT/A&M game but the spread is an ugly 35 points.  I fully expect Colt McCoy to win his first game against the Aggies but I’m still not sure the Horns will hang that many points on them.

NCAA Football

Miss. St. (+16) at Ole Miss (-16)  Coming off a big win against LSU, Ole Miss is playing good and at home this week.  Mook’s pick: Old Miss (-16)

Auburn (+14 1/2) at Alabama (-14 1/2)  The #1 team in the nation is at home against rival Auburn in the Iron Bowl.  Alabama has lost 6 straight games against the Tigers.  I think they’ll finally break the streak but won’t cover.  Mook’s pick: Auburn (+14 1/2)

Oklahoma (-7 1/2) at Oklahoma St. (+7 1/2)  I’m hoping to jinx another Big 12 team this week by picking OU to get past OSU.  Mook’s pick: Oklahoma (-7 1/2)

Baylor (+21) at Texas Tech (-21)  Tech is in need of a big blowout against Baylor in hopes of moving them up the polls a bit.  Mook’s pick: Texas Tech (-21)

NFL

Arizona (+3) at Philly (-3)  The Cardinals are close to locking up the NFC West while Philly is fighting to stay alive in the playoff picture.  Mook’s pick: Arizona (+3)

Indy (-5 1/2) at Cleveland (+5 1/2)  Indy has won 4 straight while Cleveland has lost 3 of 4. Mook’s pick: Indy (-5 1/2)

San Fran (+7) at Buffalo (-7)  Both teams have lost 4 of 5 coming into this game.  I gotta go with the home favorite.  Mook’s pick: Buffalo (-7)

NY Giants (-4) at Washington (+4)  Since the Redskins are 1-4-1 against the spread over the last 6 weeks and the Giants continue to win, I’m gonna stick with the Giants.  Mook’s pick: NY Giants (-4)
