Arggghh…getting up at 5:45AM is early, way too early. My normal schedule till now was to roll out of bed at 7:30 so this is quite a jolt to the body. I joined the gym last night and worked out for the first time this morning. We’ll see how long this lasts…hopefully I’ll find another sucker person to join which will help.
Poor, poor Love Elf…wow Ohio St. stunk up the place last night. Interesting first quarter but horribly boring after that.
We hosted a tournament this weekend at the Big O and despite a horrible run of cards I made the final table but bombed out early. Instead of putting the tournament report here, I switched up the Big O website and now use the same software as I do for this blog. So you can read the full tournament report over there and see all the pictures including one of Rocco who knocked me out. Ever since last season’s Sopranos we’ve given him the unfortunate nickname of Jimmy Cakes ala Johnny Cakes.
Late last month Pokerstars emailed me and said they were crediting my account with $8 since a SNG I played in months back had a couple of people who were cheating. Before my last Vegas trip I pulled out my money from Stars so the $8 was the only cash in my account. I’ve decided to try and see how far I can build my roll from the initial $8..kinda like the Ferguson $1 – $20,000 challenge, only I’m no world class player. I’ve cashed in my last few SNGs I played including a 1st place finish in one this weekend and a 3rd place finish in a $4-180 SNG. Right now my balance is sitting at $143. It will be interesting to see how far I can go before I hit the felt.
The Mookie tournaments have been posted on Full Tilt and this week’s defending champ is Fuel55. For the 2nd Chance we’ll have a $10 token tournament (NLHE Turbo). For every $75 in the prize pool a token will be awarded which can be used for Don’s Big Game (or other $75 tourneys).

Dammit Mook. I was hoping I’d be able to play tonite. Unfortunately GF has me precommitted to something else (don’t remember what, but you know the drill). So best I can do is pimp the show (assuming anybody still drops by my rag of a blog!). If I make it home in time, maybe I can make it in. If not, def next week. GL & see ya out there.

I had dragon ass once, but that’s a story for another time. Nice job with your 20X bankroll from the unexpected deposit. Thanks again for the live tourney help. We are going to try ours this weekend. Also, I wonder if Apple will be able to buy the rights to the iPhone name. Cisco currently owns the name I believe.
Brain, good luck with your tourney this weekend. I read something yesterday that had quotes from Cisco saying they are near a deal for the IPhone name.

Going into work Tuesday was almost as bad, as the shit-giving was in Large effect.
What sucks most of all, is, that we have no excuse.
I mean, sure we were off for 51 Dayzzz.
But, still, those were not the Bucks we know and love that showed up that day.
Maybe they were Longhorns dressed up in OSU jerseys.
