Deja Vu
Last night I wasn’t able to follow my usual routine of pizza, Rock Band and then The Mookie on Full Tilt. We are trying to cook more instead of eating out so we had spaghetti and I spent some time on the floor with Millie Goat. Amelia is our 7 month old and she’s crawling everywhere trying to eat anything she can find on the floor. How come they don’t make baby muzzles?
I was on time for The Mookie and was one of 45 players signed up for the donkfest. It didn’t take long for me to get my chips in the middle. My QQ on a 9 high flop held up against Schaub’s TT to vault me up the leaderboard. A flopped set of 7’s vs. Mattazuma pushed my stack past the 7,000 mark well before the first break. Unfortunately after that hand it was all downhill from there. I lost a big chunk to J Haze when my TT fell to his AJh. I was never able to grow the stack and eventually got bounced in 19th place.
MiamiDon was the final table bubble sending these players to the final table:
Only the top 5 spots made the money:
9th Place – RaisingCayne
8th Place – Bdidde
7th Place – Katiemother
6th Place --WYLDKARD-
5th Place – NYRambler $32.40
4th Place – -o-LuckTruck-o- $43.20
3rd Place – sprstoner $57.60
2nd Place – LGkiev $82.80
1st Place – Heffmike $144
Congratulations to Heffmike on the big win and his 3rd Mookie title. Just over a month ago Heffmike and LGkiev battled heads up for the title. Heffmike managed to take that one down. Maybe third times a charm for LGkiev. Thanks to everyone who showed up to play last night. As I mentioned in my previous post, we can no longer have $12 KO private tourneys on Full Tilt. Starting next week we’ll drop the KO/bounties and I’m also thinking about trying out a double stacked NLHE turbo format. Last night’s tourney lasted until nearly 1AM CT.
Don’t forget about the big tournament tonight…
I’m signed up but may not be able to play. This thing could take awhile with the amount of chips that will be in play. BuddyDank Radio will be on air to cover the tourney. This should be a lot of fun.
