I wasn’t able to make the WWdN tournament tonight so in my continued effort to win a tournament, I signed up for a $10 45 person SNG on Pokerstars.

Right out of the gate, I won a couple small pots but then couldn’t run my AA through 99.  Luckily I had 190 more chips than the other guy and was still alive…barely.  I didn’t panic and slowly clawed my way out of the big hole I had dug myself.  Eventually I was able to make it back to an average stack with half the field gone.

I kept at it and was able to make it to the final table 6/9 (7 spots paid).  Things were looking good as we lost a player within the first few hands.  But then I couldn’t get KK past a shorter stack’s A5 and lost a chunk of chips.  I pushed all in against the same player with A8 but she had AT and I was left with just 90 chips.

Once again I mounted a comeback and was able to build back up to 1,200 chips but in the end I couldn’t win with K9 vs Q9 and I was out on the damn BUBBLE.  All that work for nothin’…
