Back From The Dead
As many of you saw my blog took a dump sometime early Friday morning. I’ve had problems in the past with it and the hosting company. I’m too lazy and stupid to switch companies and once again their support was worthless.
After spending a big chunk of my weekend camped out on the couch sighing and swearing at my laptop I finally got things back in order. I think. We’ll see.
We hosted a tournament at the Big O on Friday and I played bad and bombed out early. Luckily Mrs. Mookie snagged some cash because I was a rebuying machine on life tilt.
Saturday we went out with friends to dinner and then to Main Event while we killed some time before taking in a late movie. We had planned on bowling but the wait was over an hour. So instead we threw some darts. Only a few of us had thrown before so naturally the newbies kicked ass. You know you’re getting old when your elbow is sore after an hour of darts.
The movie of choice was Knocked Up and it was pretty funny. There was lots of sex, drugs and boobs to go along with a lot of laughs. The only puzzling thing to me was there were a few sex scenes between the two main characters (Seth Rogen and Katherine Heigl) and in them they tried different positions but she had her bra on the whole time. I guess she didn’t wanna be like the other cool chicks in the movie and show off her “healthy lungs”.
Yesterday I spent the entire day on the couch working on this piece of crap blog getting up only to take a leak and eat. Yea I spend lots of time trying to figure out why Mrs. Mookie stays with me too. Although it is pretty tough to walk out on a lazy, smelly, ghey-wannabe-poker bloggin’ couch potato. I mean what’s sexier than that?
Tonight the BBT continues at Hoyazo’s MATH tournament on Full Tilt. There aren’t many events left but still plenty of time for most people to qualify for the freeroll. Mondays are always tough for me but we’ll see what happens. The Mookie and Dookie tournaments have been posted on Full Tilt and here are all the tournaments left in the BBT (taken from Al’s site):
